DELFES

DELFES is the acronym for « Diagnostic des Éléments Limitatifs à partir du Feuillage et du Sol » (Diagnosis of Limiting Factors from Foliage and Soil). The program presents itself as an Excel app and serves to diagnose the nutritive status of the sugar bush and to recommend amendment or fertilization prescriptions based on the results of foliage and soil analyses (authors: Rock Ouimet, Louis Duchesne, and Jean-David Moore of the Direction de la recherche forestière of the ministère des Forêts, de la Faune et des Parcs (MFFP).
