The Centre ACER has modern laboratories equipped with high-level scientific equipment for use in chemical or microbiological analyses. The Centre ACER has developed a particular expertise in lab analyses related to maple trees and maple sugar products. This unique expertise, which covers the profiles of sugars, amino acids, phytohormones, volatile substances responsible for aromas, and much more, is offered to the industry and to researchers.
The Centre ACER also has two mini evaporators in order to simulate the conditions related to boiling and cooking with great precision, all the while using low volumes of liquid.
