STRATEGIC PLAN 2005-2009
Center Acer published their 5 year strategic plan in
their 2004 annual report. (refer to www.centreacer.qc.ca)
In addition to technology transfer, 4 key areas of research were
identified for focus, namely
Identifying
consumer and market expectations
Developing
value-added maple products
Strengthening
the competitive position of maple products by increasing the
efficiency of production systems
Ensuring
a sustainable resource and environment
Depending upon
the nature of the research, Center ACER will seek to complement its'
competence with those of other institutions for the most optimal
results.
